Ingredients:
- 4 cans 15 oz each navy beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 pound bacon, diced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy
Remove excess grease
Add chopped onions to the skillet and saut until translucent
In a large mixing bowl, combine navy beans, cooked bacon, sauted onions, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder
Mix well
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the beans are hot and bubbly
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving
